[Comp-neuro] Postdoc- Computational Neuroscience - University of Arizona


Computational Neuroscience Postdoctoral Fellow position at the University of Arizona:

Applications are invited for a Postdoctoral Position to utilize computational tools to study the neural mechanisms and processing that give rise to  
a) memory acquisition and consolidation,
b) spatial navigation (grid & place cells), and
c) neural coding.

Prospective candidates should have
a) a strong background in research (e.g., publications),
b) a strong quantitative background with computational skills and experience including statistics or information theory, and
c) an aptitude and motivation for innovative research.

Positions are expected to start Fall 2014. Highly competitive salary and benefits are available and will be commensurate with experience. The candidate will work together with Jean-Marc Fellous and O. Ozan Koyluoglu, and will be affiliated with both the Department of Psychology and the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering.
