[Comp-neuro] *Brain Corporation jobs: Computer Vision scientist*

The role of computer vision scientist will involve working as part of a team of neuroscientists on the computational modeling of visually-guided sensorimotor control to develop an artificial nervous systems for robotics.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with other scientists to solve problems in computer vision, machine learning, and robotics.
• Generate novel scientific ideas, code and test your own prototype implementations.
• Present your ideas and results internally to your research group and at mainstream conferences.
• Identify and extract key findings from the scientific literature and evaluate their value for real-world applications.
• Contribute to the design of tools and processes for accelerating scientific research.
• Accurately convey ideas and requirements to scientific programmers and engineers.

Knowledge and Skills

We are seeking candidates who are exceptional in the following two areas:

a. Published record of research in computer vision algorithms
b. Excellent skills in multiple programming languages, including one of {C/C++, PYTHON, MATLAB}

Prior experience in Software Development is strongly desired.

Requirements

• PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Neuroscience, or related fields
• US employment authorization or eligibility for O-1 Visa ("Individuals with Extraordinary Ability or Achievement")
