The CRM Research Group in Computational Neuroscience announces a postdoctoral position and a doctoral fellowship attached to the research project entitled "Memory coding and consolidation: a computational study", funded by grant BFU2012-33413 from the "Ministerio de Economia y Competitividad" of the Spanish government, and headed by Dr. Alex Roxin.
1.Two-Year Postdoctoral Position. Start Date: January 2014. This position is funded by project BFU2012-33413 from the "Ministerio de Economia y Competitividad" of the Spanish government. During these two years, the postdoctoral researcher will work on computational models of memory consolidation in close collaboration with the principal investigator. Candidates for the position should have a strong technical background, e.g. Physics, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, and preferably some experience with modeling biological systems. 2.Three-year doctoral fellowship. This position is funded by the program "Formación de Personal Investigador en Formación" (FPI) attached to the grant BFU2012-33413 from the "Ministerio de Economia y Competitividad" of the Spanish government. The call from MEC is expected to appear at the end of July. Candidates for the position should have a strong technical background, e.g. Physics, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, etc.
