A PhD position is available at the department of Data Analysis, Ghent University, Belgium (http://www.da.ugent.be).
The PhD project is focused on brain connectivity and will involve both theoretical research and application to specific neuroimaging datasets.
The student will be part of a research group focusing on the development and validation of new methods for the analysis of neuroimaging data, in the framework of a multidisciplinary collaboration with psychologists and clinicians.
The candidate has ideally a master degree in physics, mathematics or engineering, knows at least one programming language (matlab, R, C, etc) and has an interest for multidisciplinary research.

The starting date is October 1st 2012.
