[Comp-neuro] TENURE TRACK/TENURED POSITION IN MATHEMATICAL BIOLOGY

TENURE TRACK/TENURED POSITION IN MATHEMATICAL BIOLOGY

The Department of Mathematical Sciences at the New Jersey Institute of
Technology seeks candidates to fill a tenure-track/tenured position at the
Assistant/Associate/Full Professor level in the general area of
Mathematical Biology. The Department is particularly interested in
candidates with a research focus on the development and application of
mathematical techniques in neuroscience or in the understanding of the
dynamics of gene, protein or cellular networks. Approaches combining
deterministic and stochastic dynamics are of special interest.

Candidates should have a Ph.D. and postdoctoral experience with strong
teaching and research potential for consideration at the Assistant
Professor level and an appropriate record of accomplishment in classroom
teaching, mentoring doctoral students and research publication and
funding, at the Associate or Full Professor level. Interested candidates
can find application details at http://math.njit.edu/about/math_jobs.php
and can email Amitabha Bose (bose@njit.edu) if they have further
questions.
