Applications are invited for a postdoctoral position in the laboratory of Dr. Alireza Soltani at Dartmouth College to study the effects of reward on decision making and attention.
The project involves both computational modeling and experimental work (human psychophysics and neuroimaging).
Responsibilities include designing and conducting experiments as well as constructing detailed computational models.
The successful candidate should have:
1) a strong background in neuroscience, psychology, or related fields.
2) good programming skills in Python and/or MATLAB.
The lab is located in the Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences at Dartmouth College. As a member of the Ivy League, Dartmouth offers a vibrant intellectual community, excellent benefits, and competitive salary based on research experience.
Dartmouth is located in the scenic Upper Valley of New Hampshire, close to several Appalachian trails and ski resorts, and is only a 2-hour drive from Boston.
