Successful applicants could come from one of several fields, including cognitive science/cognitive neuroscience, computer science, statistics, biostatistics, physics, or other related disciplines. An ability for and commitment to interdisciplinary research is a priority, as is an approach that both exploits existing computational techniques to address questions relevant to cognitive science and advances machine-learning theory. Duties include research, research supervision, service, as well as graduate and undergraduate teaching.
