[Comp-neuro] Third Infinity - Conference on the Physics of Biological and Complex Systems

Dear fellow researchers,

We, the students of the International Max Planck Research School for the
Physics of Biological and Complex Systems (IMPRS PBCS) at the University
of Göttingen, present our conference called "Third Infinity" that takes
place from October 17th to October 19th in Göttingen.

Two conference keynote lectures will be given by Karl Friston about
"Life as we know it" and Eytan Domany about "Moving from Physics to
Biology: the Upsides, Downsides & Unexpected Sides".

Further invited speakers come from the fields of
- statistical and computational physics
- non-linear dynamics
- complex robotic systems
- nanoscale photonics and dynamics and
- neural processing and brain dynamics

The invited speakers talks will be accompanied by student talks chosen
from the received abstracts.

For a complete schedule, list of speakers and details of talks, please visit our website, www.thirdinfinity.mpg.de.

Registration is open at
http://www.thirdinfinity.mpg.de/register.php

We hope to see you in Goettingen,

The organizing team from the IMPRS-PBCS
