[Comp-neuro] Postdoc Position- memory consolidation and sleep in the rodent

Computational and Experimental Neuroscience Laboratory
Postdoctoral Position
University of Arizona

The CENL is looking for a postdoctoral fellow to work on a research
project geared toward understanding the role of sleep in memory
consolidation in rodents. Applicants with a subset of the following
skill set are strongly encouraged to apply:

- Behavioral neuroscience and animal training (rat preferred)
- Electrophysiology (in vivo chronic behaving, or in vitro)
- Scientific expertise and interests in hippocampus and/or sleep and/or
medialPFC and/or Thalamus
- Optogenetics
- 3D printing and CAD
- Matlab programming and spike-data analyses
- Labview programming

The project is highly multi-disciplinary and will involve collaborations
with other researchers at Univ. California Riverside, Univ. California
San Diego, The Salk Institute and Harvard Univ. Good communication
skills are required.
