[Comp-neuro] Jobs at Brain Corporation: O-1 visa instead of H-1B

Brain Corporation is looking to hire talented computational neuroscientists and software engineers to create an artificial nervous system for robots.

Since many such people come from outside of the U.S., they need a visa to work legally in the U.S.

The 2013 H-1B quota was reached within the first 4 days of April; the next quota will be available in April of 2014 and would allow people to start working on October 1, 2014.

However, all people (to be) joining Brain Corporation have extraordinary abilities, and hence are eligible to obtain O-1 Visa.

The requirements for O-1 visa include publications, citations, membership in professional societies; invitations to review work of others, etc.; see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/O_visa

The legal expense to obtain O-1 visa is paid by Brain Corporation, and the whole procedure takes 2-3 months.

Job opportunities at Brain Corporation are listed at
