Assistant Professor, Computer & Information Science

The Department of Computer and Information Science (CIS) invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor to begin in September 2013.  A Ph.D. in Computer Science, Information Science, Informatics, or closely related field is required.  The position requires excellence in teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, good communication skills, and demonstrated research potential with the ability to attract external research funding.  We are interested in candidates with expertise in computational neuroscience, systems neuroscience, or other closely related areas such as neuroinformatics, brain and cognitive science, or cognitive computing and informatics.

The CIS department offers graduate and undergraduate programs at Fordham’s Rose Hill campus in the Bronx, Lincoln Center campus in Manhattan, and Westchester campus in West Harrison, NY.  For information about the department please visit http://www.cis.fordham.edu.
