"In-vivo Intracellular Recordings"
July 28th - Aug 9th 2013
In-vivo intracellular recordings of neuronal activity is a leading method in neuroscience research. The goal of the course is to acquaint young experimental neuroscientists (PhD & PostDoc) with these techniques. The twelve-day workshop will be held at the Inter-University Institute for Marine Sciences in Eilat, Israel. It will include lectures and an extensive experimental lab, in which the participants will perform intracellular recordings from cortical and cerebellar neurons in the anaesthetized and awake preparations. Lectures by internationally acclaimed scientists will demonstrate the power of this approach in solving major questions in brain research.
