Applications are now being accepted for a postdoctoral fellow position to study the neural mechanisms of sensory-motor integration and decision-making in the Brain and Behavior Discovery Institute at the Georgia Health Science University, located in Augusta, Georgia, USA. This position is funded for 3 years and renewable.
Applicants must have a Ph.D degree in Neuroscience, Biophysics, Psychology or a related discipline. Ability to work independently as well as in a cooperative manner to develop, organize and complete research projects is essential. Highly motivated individuals with creative problem solving capabilities and paying attention to detail are expected. Previous experience in vivo neural recording from behaving animals and computer programming (LabView, MATLAB, and/or C) are preferred, but not required.
