[Comp-neuro] BICA 2013 - Call for Papers

Greetings!

I am delighted to announce open submission to BICA 2013.

WHAT: Annual International Conference on Biologically Inspired Cognitive Architectures
WHERE: Kiev, Ukraine, Intercontinental hotel
WHEN: Saturday-Sunday, September 14-15, 2013

Submission deadline is March 15. Two volumes of proceedings will be published, and you can select where to publish: in the Elsevier's journal BICA or in the highly indexed volume of Procedia.

Call for Papers and further details are posted at the conference web site: http://bicasociety.org/meetings/2013/

Summary: The challenge of creating a real-life computational equivalent of the human mind calls for our joint efforts to develop biologically-inspired intelligent agents and co-robots that can be accepted and trusted by the human society as partners in various roles. To do this, we need to better understand at a computational level how natural intelligent systems develop their cognitive and learning functions.

Please reply and let us know whether you are planning to submit a paper or an abstract - or have any questions.

Cheers,

-Alexei
