An incredible opportunity exists for the next generation of scientists at the Canadian Centre for Behavioural Neuroscience (CCBN) at the University of Lethbridge.
The CCBN is home to a premier neuroscience-training program, Biological Information Processing (BIP): From Genome to Systems Level, which is funded by the Natural Sciences & Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC) through their Collaborative Research and Training Experience (CREATE) program.
In the BIP program, students learn from an unparalleled group of mentors who are world leaders in their fields, including neuroscience, biology, epigenetics, cancer research and neurotechnology development.
The program stands apart from the standard academic track, providing opportunities for science entrepreneurship, industry contact and the translation of science to industry. A very competitive stipend is offered to qualified applicants.

How to Apply
We are seeking exceptional undergraduate and graduate students as well as post-doctorate fellows who have a background in neuroscience, cell biology, imaging science, physiology, biochemistry and computation.
The Program Committee will select trainees based on grades, relevant courses, three letters of reference and strength of support and commitment from the prospective mentor.
Students are encouraged to apply to the School of Graduate Studies at the University of Lethbridge and the NSERC CREATE Biological Information Processing Program simultaneously. Your acceptance into the BIP program is contingent on your acceptance to the School of Graduate Studies.
